BIOGRAPHY
Vidyasagar Shilapuram is a Post Doctoral Research Associate in sustainable energy research laboratory, Mechanical Engineering Program, Texas A&M University at Qatar. He is presently working on hydrogen generation from methane cracking using solar energy. Earlier to this, he worked as a Senior Research Scientist in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Corporate R&D Centre in India from May-2008 to May-2009. He worked as a Project Officer from November-2007 to April-2008 in Indian Institute of Technology, Madras for the sponsored project from Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, India on Integrated Gas Combined Cycle. He is a recipient of Ambuja's Young Researcher's Award by the Society of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. His research areas includes: fluidization, chemical reaction engineering, and gasification.
