INTEREST AREAS
Reza Tafreshi, a visiting professor at Texas A&M University in Qatar and an associate researcher with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, has seven years of industrial experience. During his Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Postdoctoral Fellowship award he developed a novel wavelet-based algorithm for effective detection of seizures in epileptic patients.
