BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Rowshan is currently working as a Technical Laboratory Coordinator in the Mechanical Engineering Program in Texas A&M University at Qatar. He joined Texas A&M University at Qatar in 2007 and Dr. Rowshan was supervising the set-up, installation and procurement of equipment and supplies for the newly established materials testing and manufacturing laboratories in the Mechanical Engineering Program. He taught the following courses at University of Miskolc: physical metallurgy, material science, material testing, and heat treatment. Materials and manufacturing selection in design laboratory, Foundations in engineering and solid mechanics in MEEN design are among the courses he teaches at Texas A&M University at Qatar. Dr. Rowshan has published several conference and journal papers. His professional interests include structure of metals, heat treatment, surface engineering, localized hardening, laser surface engineering, finite element analysis and rapid manufacturing.
