Research

Research projects at the Mechanical Engineering Program of Texas A&M University at Qatar yield knowledge that contributes to Qatar’s thriving industry and economy. Our research and development efforts focus on the alternative energy sources, biomedical signal processing, machine fault diagnosis, characterization of fluid flow, computer integrated design, nanotechnology, packaging systems, advanced materials research, continuum mechanics, better energy efficiency in buildings and finite element analysis with applications ranging from MEMS design to mechanics of biomaterials. Mechanical Engineering Program faculty has research partnerships with of several universities and research centers around the world.
